What documents do I need for TikTok Shop US?
A valid US ID (passport or passport card, driver’s license, state ID or permanent resident card). You may also be asked for proof of address, and businesses may need an IRS document showing their EIN. You complete a W-9 for tax.
Can I sell on TikTok Shop without a business?
Yes. TikTok Shop US lets you register as an individual seller. You still need to report your income for tax.
How long does verification take?
TikTok doesn’t publish a fixed time. Matching your typed details exactly to your documents and uploading clear, uncropped images avoids the most common rejections.
